There are four kinds of nouns: 1. A noun whose verb bears resemblance to the noun: accusation¨ (to) accuse 2. A noun whose verb is the same as the noun: bomb¨ (to) bomb 3. A noun with no verb, but one can put an auxiliary verb before the adjective of the noun and create a sentence with a meaning: anxiety¨ There is no such thing as "to anxic" However, one can say "He is anxious". 4. A noun with no verb at all: armchair In the textbook "The Worm", I elaborate upon words according to their noun kind.


About the Author

Anat Hirsch is the author of the book "C.O.M Method for Acquiring Reading Skills in English". She graduated her first degree in English Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and her second degree in Information Studies (Librarianship) from Haifa University. She is a librarian in Tel- Aviv University, Israel.
