About the Author

Dr. Suarez is a retired U.S. Marshal whose law enforcement career spans twenty-eight years. He began his career as a criminal court officer for the state of New York then continued on to become an undercover narcotics agent for the Puerto Rico Police Department. Graduated as a uniformed police officer from the Puerto Rico Police Department, reserve deputy sheriff for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department in Memphis, Tennessee, and federal correctional officer for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. Dr. Suarez holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in public administration and a doctor of philosophy in law enforcement management. He is a graduate of Management Concepts Inc. in Vienna, Virginia, and is a certified management specialist in the leadership and management track. He holds black belt degrees in both Korean and Chinese martial arts systems, is a certified referee and judge for martial arts tournaments, and has received the certified rank of tudi. As a disciple, Dr. Suarez was given the Chinese name Chao Ch’ung Kuo. He is also a mason who was made at the Masonic temple in New York City and Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Suarez is an ordained deacon and a proud graduate of the Spirit of Faith Bible Institute in Oxon Hill, Maryland.
