About the Book

This book is about my family’s journey out of the LDS church into Christianity - a journey that only God could have done. This book is proof that “God decides” and then takes us on miraculous journeys. My husband and I wrote this book originally for our friends, since they weren’t allowed to talk to us. It developed over time. Through our experiences, we realized that it helped people who were considering leaving the LDS church and wanted to know the consequences, and others dealing with LDS members, both friends and family. We have shared this story with many people. However, if you are looking for a perfect family with no struggles and no sin, look elsewhere. We cling to God’s Word and Saving Grace - He died to take away our sins. As we age, we want to leave this as a living testament to God’s power and love.

About the Author

Wayne and Carol live in Ogden, UT. Wayne has worked since 1995 as a Dialyzer Supervisor for Fresenius Medical Care, USA. Carol has worked since 1994 as a Secretary at Weber State University. We have attended various churches at various stages in our growth, but have finally settled down at First Baptist Church in Ogden. Our children have all spread out with “their” children to various places and churches, each family finding their niche in life. We have 21 ½ grandchildren. During the year, the happiest times on earth are when the family comes together. We praise God for dragging each one of us into a relationship with Jesus Christ, Himself.
