About the Author

Patricia Dykes has served the Lord since her high school days at Chattanooga Valley High School in North Georgia. She and a friend established a Christian club during her senior year called the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS). Patricia continued serving the Lord through her college years at Blue Mountain College in North Mississippi. Through marriage, divorce, single parenting, and grandparenting, with the ups and downs that is common to man, there has always been one constant in Patricia’s life—the love of Jesus. Whether wrong or right, happy or sad, Patricia has learned the One that is called Faithful and True is who He says He is—Faithful and True. In times of peace or turmoil, Patricia has learned, and is still learning, that God’s love is constant, healing, and allows us to be accepted in the Beloved! Patricia has learned that leaning on His Loving Everlasting Arms for grace and mercy to repent, to laugh, to fight the good fight of faith, and to rest, is a daily choice. Patricia sees herself as a work in progress and has a heart to share what God has placed in her heart with you. Patricia Dykes desires to see new Christians be taught foundational truths in their walk with God in order that their foundation will remain strong and stable as it is being built upon. Let’s not keep Christians as babies or small children, but let us help them grow balanced and healthy into mature, knowledgeable sons and daughters of God.
