My Precious Gift

About the Book

My Precious Gift is a collection of poems and photographs from my earlier years to the present. The poems are filled with thoughts and feelings of love, family, loss and my journey through life. I have a tendency to stop and admire the beauty in nature, so the photographs are a time stamp to those stops.

About the Author

My hometown was Hollywood, FL and I moved to Lake Placid, FL shortly after high school. I am the third generation in my family to graduate from Florida Atlantic University, shared by my Grandmother Wanda and Uncle Dana. Even though my degree is in Criminal Justice, I have enjoyed both writing and photography since I was a child. I find writing to be a form of release that sets my mind free and my soul at ease. My Precious Gift book title is a tribute to my mother, she has always been there for me and I am so appreciative to her for urging me to publish my work.
