About the Book

This book is about a little duckling named Tommy, who thinks he is grown up enough to wonder away from his home and family to explore the city. It shows children how Tommy gets lost and cannot find his way back home, and how very scared and alone he feels, and how he learns a very important lesson.

This book, and my upcoming books are all about lessons children can learn. From being afraid of the dark, to fibbing, and the feeling of being different.

About the Author

Mary Rebecca Mayberry (Steuernagle) was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and goes by the name Becky. She is of six siblings. Mary has one son, and two grandchildren. In 1997, Mary was the only woman to own and operate a telecommunications company in the United States. Mary moved from Maryland in 2003 to Virginia where she lives with her husband John who is also the illustrator of her books.
