About the Book
The Hunter is tracking his evening’s prey, to burglarize the home of a young, single woman. The burglary escalates to a brutal murder of the woman. The Hunter can’t help it, his early life and background has put him on a trajectory that leads to murdering his burglary victims. It will put him in direct conflict with, detective Bart Cummings. Bart recently joined the Maricopa County police department, specializing in homicide cases. He had retired from the Chicago police department and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. But, he soon found that early retirement was not for him and joined the county police department. Bart and recently promoted detective assistant, Joan Duffy, are assigned to the murder case. He hasn’t identified the killer, but The Hunter knows about him and his lady friend, Laura Hopkins. Follow Bart and Joan as they pursue clues left by The Hunter.
About the Author
Bob was born in New York City. He and his wife Inge make their home in Arizona. He is actively involved in community and charitable activities. Bob also served as a councilman and council president in a small town in New Jersey for two terms. He is currently active as a founder of the Coalition of Pinnacle Peak of Scottsdale, Arizona; a civic group chartered in 1997. He is listed in Who’s Who in America. Bob entered the insurance industry after serving with the Marine Corps in Korea. He was employed by several major insurance companies the last one being Crum & Forster, Inc., a national property and casualty insurer and, at the time, a member of the Xerox group of companies. Bob served as Chairman, President and CEO of Crum & Forster until he retired.
