About the Book

The beauty of words in poetry. Through many of my adventures and memories of my family life. Have provided me with a strong need to put my feelings into words. “Echoes of the Soul “is but a fraction of what lies within my soul.” Echoes of the Soul” is a spectrum of many events in my life. I found so much joy and sorrow in writing each poem. It is my sincere hope that everyone who reads “Echoes of the Soul “will not only enjoy it. But perhaps it will bring forth many memories from their lives.

About the Author

I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1956. To Robert E and Joyce Z Lewis, being raised in such an exciting city gave way for my imagination to grow. My parents provided me with a very structured lifestyle. And supported me so lovingly in my passion for writing. Coming from such a large family was a wonderful source of memories. I now reside in Texas due to Katrina. I visit my home town and family as often as allowed. I have been married to Salvatore Scanio for the last fifteen years. I have two children and four grandchildren whom I love very much. A lot of my free time when I’m not writing is spent with my two wonderful Boston Terriers Satchmo and Jazz Man
