About the Author

Frank Lamm grew up in Lumberton, North Carolina, and got his first job as a school bus driver at the age of sixteen. Before joining the United States Air Force in 1962, he tried the textile mill, then the Pepsi Cola Company, and finally working for his father-in-law in the blacksmith shop. After serving 28 years and ten months in avionics in the air force, he worked as an Electronic Engineer for several aerospace companies in succession, for eighteen years in support of the Nellis Air Force Base Electronic Test Range. His travels took him all over the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, to Canada, Europe, Greenland, Guam, Mexico, Asia, and the Philippines.
