About the Book

Millionaire, You Can Be One by Charles Calhoun is a simple plan to go from poverty or youth (youth usually includes poverty) to financial improvement and then to financial independence, even wealth at the level of multimillions of dollars. Inside are simple concepts and doable strategies that lead to financial success and the security and the positive things that wealth enables. Had our Congress followed the 1% approach described in this book there would be no national debt and our nation would be far more secure and prosperous. I believe the concepts found in this book should be taught to all children while in school. Most people are unfortunately never shown these simple ideas.

About the Author

The author is a lifelong educator having been a high school and middle school Science teacher for forty years in New York. His interests include investing, art, physical fitness and health. After obtaining the qualification of CFP (certified financial planner) he elected instead to remain a teacher and continue to work with young people. In fact this book was written to inform and motivate young people to their potential. His art includes paintings and stained glass work (including making the lamp shown inside this book). Art creates beauty that can be enjoyed every day. As a health and fitness advocate (also licensed in Health Education and Physical Education, Manhattan College, 1968) he has been training since age 14. Now 65 he still daily runs or swims for fun and fitness. One of his proudest athletic achievements was running the New York City Marathon in 2 hours 46 minutes in 1983 (a 6:19 per mile pace for 26.2 miles. Cool!). I believe the concepts found in this book should be taught to all children while in school. Most people are unfortunately never shown these simple ideas.
