About the Author

Susan Hansen is a retired mother and grandmother living in South Lyon, Michigan. She has authored one previous book, Letters and Stories from an Up North Grandma. It is in nature that spirit most often finds and speaks to her, surprising her with unexpected moments to treasure. She is grateful to her family and friends for their encouragement to continue what she began when one day as a child she climbed the elm in her back yard, settled into its branches with pencil and paper, listened, and began to journal.
