About the Author

Arthur Knackmus comes from a large family of 8 children. Arthur has a farming background and has an AAS Degree in coal mine tech. Arthur is a fairly new poet. These poems are his first ones published. Arthur is a common man from the small town of West Salem in southeastern Illinois. Most poems Arthur writes are simple and down to earth. These poems were inspired by life's events, what he has read and most importantly by God. Arthur has over 400 poems but these are the better ones. Some poems were easy to write, others took a lot of time thinking them out. Arthur thanks God for allowing him to publish such poetry.
