When Nothing Goes Right is a children’s book about a little boy who attempts to be helpful but his good deeds seem to backfire and he ends up being the one who is negatively affected. In spite of this, he continues to persevere and eventually is rewarded with the help of a conscientious teacher.

About the Author

Here’s a picture of Lucy and Mikey. Lucy was the inspiration for writing this book. She is a seven year old Lutino Cockatiel and lives with us in Northeastern Illinois. In the book, as in real life, she has recently started to grow back her beautiful tail feathers.
