About the Book

“A.C.” or “Clark” Hestmark was born May 26, 1927 at his home in Ogden, Utah. He died April 27, 2007, at his home in Incline Village, NV, just short of his 80th birthday. Of Little Importance is Clark’s self-told story. It is told in 3 Reaches or, according to Clark, “sequences of flow in a lifetime.”
Reach One: Preparation for Reach 2 describes his childhood, his family, and the many activities he participated in through his birth to his time spent at the University of Utah.
Reach Two: The Business of Life covers the meeting and marrying the love of his life, Virginia “Ginny” Ware. It continues into his adult life, the family they raised together, his career, hobbies, health, and other topics.
Reach Three: Basking in the Light During the Countdown, summarizes many of his reflections on his life, blindness, food, politics and more.
