About the Author

Elana Dorsey was born in California and graduated with a BA in English from UC Berkeley and an MA in English from National University. She taught ESL in Japan and California, and English Composition and Literature in Texas. More recently, she taught English as a Foreign Language in Afghanistan, where she was inspired to take up writing again. She has passionately been writing poetry since 1979 with the hopes of one day publishing her work. She later began writing short stories and decided to combine the two genres together in her first book. She currently resides in Abilene, Texas.
