About the Book

After 27 years I retired from the US Postal Service, I began to paint. I was commissioned by Daniel Fine Art Service to do paintings for various hotel projects. At home I had my lovely cat, Liz, a baby kitten to play with and keep me company. I thought, why not have fun and paint my cat? After painting a few pictures of Liz, I became enamored by the great feelings and fun of painting her. Two years later I adopted another cat Dick, so now I paint both of them. For me this is my greatest enjoyment. My paintings are my thank you to my cats for the joy they bring to me each day. This is my first book of paintings about Liz. My next book will be paintings of Liz and Dick together on their adventures. I hope you will enjoy these adventures and be transported into the world of My Cat Liz (and Dick too!)
