About the Author

Larissa López de Victoria-Bouyett I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. In 1995, I graduated from college with an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science. I then moved to New York and got married to a wonderful man that I’ve known since I was 15 years old and with whom I have two kids. Lived in New York for three years and then moved to Virginia, where I reside for 7 and half years. I know live in Florida with my husband and two kids. As a child I was never encouraged to read. Knowing the importance of reading I started reading to my kids at bed time since they were babies. Reading to my children gave me the inspiration to write children’s books. I didn’t know what I was going to write until we bought our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Rocky. One day sitting at the couch with my kids, Rocky started playing and barking at us so I started talking on his behalf and that is how all started.
