About the Author

Charle Tate, a native of Colorado, has been teaching elementary school for nearly 20 years. After being introduced to the practice of yoga several years ago, she began using yoga movement in her teaching. Saving the Rainforest: A Y oga Tale is her first book and combines elements from her rainforest unit with traditional yoga poses. It is her hope that readers will immerse themselves in this participatory book and encourage others to do the same.
