Mattie McCracken's China Adventure

About the Book

Mattie McCracken lives in a small fishing village on the coast of Maine and with her dog “TuTu,” she finds adventure wherever she goes. Her interest in China leads her to more interesting experiences and her confidence and optimism make her an inspiration to young readers.

About the Author

Author Jean Edwards lives in Appleton, Maine on the banks of the St. George River. This is her third Mattie McCracken children’s book. She also writes Maine based historical novels and books of poetry about the Pine Tree State. Mattie is portrayed by Madison Edwards and Byron by her brother, Thomas. Tutu is a well remembered family pet.
