About the Author
Maurice ( Maury ) Coffee has had a distinguished career and life-long pursuit to improve the quality of health care. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Institutional Administration from Pennsylvania State College, he served an internship in Hospital Administration at Barnert Memorial Hospital in Patterson, New Jersey following which he earned a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from Northwestern University. He then served a two year Administrative residency at Lankenau Hospital on the main line in Philadelphia. In all of his endeavors, Maury displays a passion for improving healthcare services and a unique ability to build relationships as he effectively represents the interests of patients, healthcare providers and business organizations to all levels of government.
