About the Book

Islam Is an Arabic word which means submission and peaceful worship of an Almighty God. Islam is a monotheistic faith that believes in one God, which harmonizes Islam with Christianity and Judaism. We are living in a world, in which humanity is in danger, as it faces terrorism, wars, extremist fundamentalist ideology, violence and religious intolerance. In this volume, major Islamic beliefs, spiritual teachings of Islam, Divine Teachings of Islam on peace and fairness have been discussed, and the exact writings of the Qur’an on these matters have been quoted. Teachings of Islam do not affirm violence and destructive acts against humanity. In the Qur’an God says” Do not kill each other for God Is always compassionate to every one of you “(the Qur’an, 4:29).
