About the Book
Joan R. Specht, a spiritual director, bereavement coordinator, and retreat facilitator, received her Doctor of Ministry Degree from St. Mary of the Lake University in Mundelein, Illinois. She was a Sister of Mercy for thirty years. She is an ordained priest in the Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch. She lives in Center Point, Texas, with her husband, Donald Klanchar.
