About the Book

Life isn't always easy, no matter who you are. This collection of poems have been an inspiration to many over the years, from family and friends to missionaries and prisoners. These poems were written in times of personal pain, sorrow and grief and that of others. Some were penned in times of great blessings and joy. Now with encouragement from family and friends, the author shares them with you.

About the Author

Becky Bowen has been a Registered Nurse for twenty years. She has two children, a son and daughter, three biological grandchildren, one step and one foster. Becky was widowed after forty-one years of marriage. She started writing poetry in the 1970's inspired by her mother's poems which two of those were written when Lindburgh flew the Atlantic and during V-E day and V-J Day. She spent her childhood with verbal history of family, wars and the Great Depression. Since a child, she has witnessed much human suffering. She has been a Christian since the 1970's and has attempted to share the love of Christ to as many as possible.
