About the Author

Esther Kamali Prabhakar lives in Rochelle, Illinois with her husband Dr. John Prabhakar. They have made America their home since 1967. Their beloved sons Larry (married to Lorra) and Ernie (married to Sandhya) have blessed them with six wonderful grandchildren. Esther was privileged to be the first Southeast Asian Vice President of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as well as Trustee of Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She uses her Pictorial prayer book to touch many lives at prayer workshops. Prabhakars have also become citizens of the world through their travels and numerous medical mission trips.
