About the Book

It was 1:00 a.m. on Sunday on April 14, 1991. Two boys from Gravette, Arkansas, went to Cooper’s Market in Pineville, Missouri.

David Leroy Moore, nineteen, and Billy Joe Price, eighteen. That night their lives changed forever.

At 1:10 a.m., it all started when Marshal Lloyd Perkins from Pineville, Missouri, pulled behind Billy’s pickup at Cooper’s Market and got out. David Allen Thurman got out on the other side to find out why they were there at 1:10 a.m. when the store was already closed.

At 1:20 a.m., David Moore hit Marshal Lloyd Perkins in the head with a crowbar twice.

At 1:32 a.m., David Moore shot David Allen Thurman three times, once in the head and twice in the chest. Billy Price and David Moore never had a bond set for them. The judge in Benton County gave David Leroy Moore capital murder. Billy Joe price got second degree murder. It never went to trial in Missouri.

Billy Price spent seven years of hell in different jails for stealing flowerpots and a bag of fertilizer from Cooper’s Market in Pineville, Missouri.

Find out how Billy Price got twenty thousand dollars from the State of Missouri. Happy reading.
