About the Book

King Poetic is a street book, the poems are raw and 90% percent real. My book of poems deal with worldly issues. My life is filled within the pages of life. I been through alot in my life, so I want to share my knowledge to the entire world...This book is not like other poetry out! Each page will open your eyes and educate as well.

About the Author

I was born in Boston, Mass but raised in South Carolina. My mother gave birth to eight boys. Being my mother’s fi rst child I had to help take care of them at a very young age. As the oldest, alot of responsibility fell on my shoulders. I never had a childhood, being the man of the house, I didn’t have time for that. My mother did the best she could do for us as a single parent but the streets kept calling me. Oneday, I told my mother “I’m tired of being good and school wasn’t for me” not knowing what I said would change my whole entire life. At age 15, I started running a mock by stealing cars, robbing and breaking in gun stores. Criminal activity gave me a rush that others didn’t understand. To be honest, I didn’t understand my behavior neither, only the power it gave me over others. Finally, my world of chaos came to an bitter end when I lost a dear love one. Heading for self destruction, no one could save me at the point, not family or friends. Being chaotic, my life didn’t mean nothing to me so I started robbing again. Nov 8, 1996 I got arrested for armed robbery and aggravated assault. At age 20, the judge sentenced me to ten years to the door. While incarcerated, I begin writing poems about life, love and death. Writing poems came easy, soon the ink poured like an endless ocean over the pages. Freedom was in the palm of my fi ngertips,ink pen. Each and everyday I wrote to free my mind from hellish conditions in my mist. Once released, I wanted to share with the world poems that dwelled inside my thought process while imprison. King poetic is based on worldly issues, life and futurtic thoughts to come in the future. These poems is apart of my life, now it’s apart of yours.
