About the Book
The Blackberry Junction Experience is all about what happens when friends and talented vendors gather together to transform a typical warehouse into something over the top. Blackberry Junction creates a warm stylish and inviting atmosphere by reviving or re-purposing pieces of salvaged architectural materials and accessories to make your house a home. You can’t help but to notice the blends of fabrics, exquisite hand made items, collectables and unique items for both your home and garden. The combination of textures from course nubby burlap to dark warm woods and rattan elements really create a quiet restful place to retreat. This transformation takes place three times a year April, September and November in the small quaint town of Albany, Oregon where it all began so many years ago. Definitely a show that will spark your creativity and imagination to help you transform your existing time worn pieces into something special. Remember- Things don’t need to be expensive to be beautiful. Our personal styles begin to emerge as a direct reflection of our personalities most tend to gravitate towards products and materials that have aged gracefully over time and that have shown the artists creative touch at work. We love to create spaces that have an emotional impact and that celebrate the beauty and uniqueness in the old and imperfect. To believe in a personal expression, style and character that resonates in every room of the house, making it not only your living space, but also your private retreat. If you love something, there will be a place for it in your home! Just follow your passion and transform them into your daily surroundings.
