About the Book
A special lovebird named Iago Kisso joins a new family where he is adored and used to entertain others in the family. Iago soon begins to feel lonely because he’s different and his emotional needs are ignored. Although he is grateful for having a caring family and enjoys having fun, he wants to have somebody like himself – somebody who would understand his thoughts and feelings, or speak his kind of “language”. The family notice Iago’s sadness and bring another lovebird to their house to cheer him up and double the fun!
This story provides an opportunity to shape children’s emotions and attitudes regarding other beings, pets and of course birds. The photos, taken by the author, should also entertain readers of all ages and bird lovers in particular.
