About the Book

In the pursuit of wealth, power an influence, Nick Siros a disen franchised Native American will let nothing stop him from achieving his goal of becoming a major player in the burgeoning Casino industry. Bent on the drive to succeed and to overcome the obstacles of displacement by the Country he calls his home only motivates him to face these challenges. This suspense drama is based on the life of Nick Siros (Fictional Character) identified by many family’s struggle to hold on to family principles without sacrificing the true meaning of loyalty. The dilemmas of personal sacrifice leads to resentment and shame. In these dynamic turn of events, this novel will question your sense of accomplishment, and what is the true cost of success, and is it worth it. This family saga enumerates with outside conflicts in the pursuit of these goals, leading to vengeance and retribution by their deceivable and cold hearted choices.

About the Author

Lord Walker is a Public Affairs Graduate of Wayne State University. Mr. Lord Walker is a diligent reader and researcher in Film and Television studies for the past 5 years. Likes to read and analyze character development and structure in novels and Scripts. Mr. Lord Walker is a recent graduate of Wayne County College in Film Production Studies. Hobbies include traveling, reading and horseback riding. I most enjoy reading novels by author Sydney Sheldon whose novels inspired me to write. I have observed projects in production as a standing cast member for Vanishing on 7th Avenue, and Grand Torino produced by Brad Anderson and acclaimed Actor and Film Producer Clint Eastwood in the State of Michigan. I also enjoy attendance of other Moviemakers and feature films produced individually and independently. I have attended apprenticeship studies for filming, Sponsored by Wayne County Michigan Works Program. Program sponsored In lieu of maintaining the Film industry in Michigan. Mr. Lord Walker belongs to Midtown Writers Network, attended various writers seminars streamed online in Genre sponsored presentations and other workshops presented by the WGA best novelist and screenwriters presentations. Some of these presenters include Jennifer Salt (Eat, Pray, Love) on “craft on characters”, and Raymond de Fellitta, & Laeta Kalogrids (Shutter Island). I also plan to write a Suspense thriller of a Military (Pentagon) nature, with an espionage theme and Military cover-up that leads to catastrophic consequences. Also in the development by Lord Walker is a treatment awaiting response from studio executive for possible production of feature film and/ or T.V. based production of melodramatic theme based on producer’s line of production. Title and manuscripts are in the works on these story ideas. My particular interest comes from legal training and research as a Court Clerk and researcher in the Judicial System upon embarking upon a legal career. My knowledge and resourcefulness of story ideas, ingenuity, creativity, and originality is what inspired the Novel “A Family Affair” by Lord Walker.
