" What I appreciate about this autobiography is that Claudia is transparent and honest. In her introduction, she says this her story as ""she remembers it."" That wasn't a disclaimer to gloss over her story. It was still very raw and a brave story. The reader can experience Claudia's hurts, failings, successes and triumphs. Many times I had to put the book down because I could feel the emotion in every word. Even though the title mentions motherhood, this book is a life story for men and women of all ages. This is book is more than an autobiographical story, it is a testimony. Claudia wrote it in a way that shares her life and the truths she discovered along the way. I was inspired at her life transformation and how her story reveals the challenges and triumphs in reconciling one's past and being fully present and successful in one's ""present."" Because it is written as a testimony, I believe the message will live on in every person who chooses to pay forward what they learned from Claudia sharing her life. "

There are some tough life decisions that I had to make as I read this book. Claudia Parker's narrative had a way of encouraging me through all of those decisions. As a result, I trusted God more to provide for my wife and me as we decided to start our own business. This story gave me an extra nudge to tell my wife that she does not have to go back to work if she desires to stay home with our children. Finally, I am motivated to overcome a 50 pound lifting restriction that a doctor placed on me years ago. I am hitting the gym to gradually build my muscle strength. "
