About the Author

Blanche Cohen Sachs was educated in French and American schools. She obtained a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from Southern Illinois University. She grew up in a Jewish Sephardi Mizrahi family speaking French at home in Cairo, Egypt. Studied English at the American University of Cairo, Egypt located at Tahrir Square. As a child attended the Lycee Francais of Cairo, Egypt located in Bab El Louk.
