About the Book

This story, based on true events, although spiritual in nature, is not meant to impart any religious agenda. My goal is to reach out to those of all faiths or no faith at all. Most of the names used are real characters, except for the name “Merkiva.” This name is really a term used to describe a “light body,” or a vehicle for travel to a higher dimension. I know, it sounds weird, but let’s just say it’s an “energy delivery system.” In reality, one can translate this story to meet his or her own individual needs. Tink Tink would want it this way! However, it is my personal view that the same “energy” pervades all living things, and my fervent hope that all human beings quickly realize this and come together as one.

About the Author

Jackie McDonald is an artist, poet, tattoo artist, barber stylist, and fledgling writer who also dabbles in playing “earth instruments,” such as the didgeridoo and djembe drum. A lover of all animals, scuba diving, music and dance, Jackie is also a Reiki practitioner, and studies other avenues of “energy healing.” She lives in East Texas with her husband, best friend, business partner and soul mate “Mac.”
