About the Book

Albert, Harry, and I were the three mismatched mechanics of the shop. We caused trouble in the small motorcycle dealership located in the town of Evangel, British Columbia. Our captors held us there for nine hours a day minimum, even through the rain and snow. This story takes place in a time without war, with a lack of concern for the environment, and when you could go full throttle on your motorcycle with no regard for the law. I remember it as if it only happened yesterday.

About the Author

Gwynn Davies was born in Manitoba far back into the eighties before spending a few years as a missionary child in Zaire. His family then moved to the outskirts of Victoria, B.C. where he was raised. With adventures ranging through Asia, Russia, Europe, the Caribbean, and other fantastic locations, he is well travelled. He completed his motorcycle training at BCIT in Vancouver as well as the BMW Technical School in California. Some of Gwynn’s passions consist of motorcycle riding, hiking, rock-climbing, and taking part in auto sports. As an avid writer of poetry and short stories he wanted to further develop his skills. In 2012 it was his tenth year working as a motorcycle mechanic under the reputable brand of BMW. Those years of working in the industry lead to the decision of writing on the subject.
