Mother said, “Always a good child, always an obedient daughter filled with great strength and love.” This is my story, a moment in time and youth—one in which I defied the impossible odds of a six-year-old child and the life-affirming friendship that has lasted a lifetime.

About the Author

I live in Irvine, California, where I enjoy my six grandchildren and two sons. I had a very loving Christian childhood, which gave me the strength to endure many situations in life! I have always wanted to share this story and reach out to others like myself who have endured such cruelty from those whose desire is to break our spirits.
