Rebekah On the Farm by Dr. K.C. Pyatt Mom and Dad are concerned that Rebekah is lonely after the death of their beloved Harrison. Dad is about to reveal a surprise new family as the second installment of the Rebekah series, 'Rebekah and the Witch' ended. Rebekah's newly adopted baby brother is a very young and clumsy Golden Retriever puppy, Gideon. Rebekah goes through a series of different emotions as she meets and attempts to accept the new family member. Rebekah and her family have an eventful vacation at the beach. Her grandparents whom she lovingly call, 'Nanny and Pappy' join them. Rebekah's family is the victim of an attempted robbery. After returning home, Rebekah receives an assignment that attempts to help another special grandfather abandon the idea of suicide when discovers he has Alzheimer's disease. This assignment is not only difficult, but also lengthy, Rebekah's attachment to her new family is strong. will she want to return home?
About the Author
K. C. Pyatt lives with her husband, Bruce, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where she is nearing completion of a doctoral degree in Christian Counseling. The Pyatts enjoy activities in their church as well as remodeling their home that was built during World War II. They share their home and lives with their two dogs and three cats. K. C. attempts to combine fiction with nonfiction in her books; but her two goals with each book is to teach Biblical lessons as well as lessons that can be applied to the reader’s life. “Rebekah and the Witch” is the second installment to the Rebekah series. “Rebekah as her Journey Begins” was published in February 2008. Illustrations for both books were drawn by the author’s husband, Bruce.
