Intriguing Way to Succeed
“A young woman born in a suburbia valley of Rio de Janeiro marries a flamboyant Italian man, whom she thought was her prince, finds her assumption was wrong.”
When Paula discovered that her husband Antonio wanted to use her as a victim in his evil plan she regretted the day she married him. She did not understand how a man that called her ‘Mio Tesoro’ was now trying to jeopardize her life to steal one and a half million dollars.
After many attempts to persuade her to go along with his plan, he tells her that he has given up and regrets trying to involve her. Paula believes him and they fly to Brazil to convince her family that everything is fine between them. That is when the drama begins.
While trying to return to the United States, Paula and Antonio are captured at gun point on their way to the Galeon airport in Rio. After believing that her husband is dead, she tries to escape the kidnappers in the jungle surrounding the mountains of Petropolis. She later discovers that Antonio is mastermind of the entire evil plot.
About the Author
My name is Leinha. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on April 23, 1957. I lived most of my life in the suburban valley of Rio. I moved to the United States almost twenty-two years ago, and I am still living in the same town, in Florida. In 2003, I decided to write a book about my life when I was recovering from complications I had from a surgery. I wrote out of desperation in being without my children for so long. My motivation came from the amazing Oprah Winfrey, who encouraged her viewers to write about their lives. The beautiful things she did for so many people while her show was on the air touched me. I hope this book reaches the hands of others who are having a hard time in life, and I hope it gives them the courage and confi dence to push through and gain the life they want. As I said, “I wrote about my life with one goal in mind: To remember that good people want to do the right thing, but sometimes we cannot.” LEINHA IntriguingWaytoSucced@aol.com
