At The Farm

About the Book

Join me in my adventure in the farm as I get to encounter animals like a dog, a cow who makes milk and a horse. I also saw an apple tree.

About the Author

I am a resident of New Jersey, have been all my life. I am the middle child of four and is also a dedicated mother of a beautiful daughter. I am also an aunt to two handsome nephews and three pretty nieces. I graduated from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey where I earned my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice: Sociology in May 2006. I started working in the education field as a paraprofessional in 2006 to now. I realized that education is my direction because children need positive and motivational individuals around to keep them grounded. This leads me to currently working on my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, degree to be expected in April 2013. I love to write, draw, and act, something I just started pursuing. The plays I were currently in was For Colored Girls,Who Considered Suicide when the rainbow is Enuf by Ntozake Shange. This play was directed by Marcia Brown for the Newark Repetoire Company which we were able to travel to Maryland and Philadelphia. The other plays were taken place at my church, Union Chapel AME in Newark. Those plays are The Birth of Jesus, The Resurrection of Jesus, and most recent one is The Gift of Christmas, all directed and written by Laymah Cisco who is also a member of my church. I want to continue to share my abilities with others as it helps me to grow in other ways to inspire and no matter how rough the road, to keep being encouraged to do the best. I can’t forget to give honor and glory to God for the talents given to share, truly a blessing.
