About the Book

Ashley and Grant are caught in the middle. Their parents are recently divorced. They don’t know how to handle the many changes that are occurring. They are pulled back and forth between two homes and between two parents who love them. This is a book about the emotions and confusion that young children may experience as they venture into a life that they did not ask for.

About the Author

Lorri A. Fry grew up in Carroll County, Maryland. She graduated from North Carroll High and attended Towson State University. In 1980 she graduated with a degree in elementary education. She started her career as a regular education teacher in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She moved back to Maryland and taught one year in Baltimore County before locating to Cecil County. Lorri taught regular education until five years ago when she entered the special education field. Currently, dual certified, her job also encompasses reading intervention. Lorri has been a single mother of two for the past thirteen years. She experienced many trials and tribulations as her son and daughter grew up in a split home. Her children are now teenagers, and although challenging at times, have managed to survive living between two homes. Divorce adds a special challenge to every day for a child. Many times there are no right answers. It is through personal experience that Lorri was able to capture the confusion of divorce “through her own children’s eyes”.
