About the Author

Mary Ellen Green lives in Magnolia, Arkansas with her husband of fifteen years, Daniel. They have two children Braden 12 and Makenzie 9. Mary Ellen received a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Southern Arkansas University. When Mary Ellen is not writing children's books she is enjoying time with her family. They enjoy camping and playing board games. She also enjoys teaching the one to two year olds Sunday school class at Immanuel Baptist Church. As a young child, Mary Ellen loved changing the endings to stories and making up stories using well known characters. She has always wanted to be a writer. Mary Ellen decided to write children books because she loves children and wanted to bring joy to children lives. She gets many of her ideas from her own children and being around the many children at church.
