About the Book

This book is a product of the emotional rollercoaster each of us goes through when a relationship ends and emotions run the gamut. It is a personal account of the process to come to terms with a wish unfulfilled. It is also a personal letter from one person to another, though the recipient may never get delivery. Though personal, it is also a description of feelings nearly anyone can relate to when a relationship has not worked. Raw and emotional, the poems draw you in.

About the Author

Vinka Valdivia is an interpreter by day and an avid reader and occasional writer during her free time. Her first poem was published in a local newspaper when she was 13 regarding a serious injury she suffered and the experience she went through. Over the years she has worked as an editor for Lavender Lens and as an occasional contributor to publications such as “Update” and FlawLes in San Diego. She enjoys writing poems full of emotion which not only express her innermost feelings but also represent what others have felt in relationships. She hopes that this will be only the first of several books on varying subjects.
