About the Book

Alaska is about a woman named Lucy Bundy who has been working in a medical field filing papers for the past five years. She is married to a man named Derrick who is a pharmacist at a hospital in St. Paul whom she never sees. When she tries to get a hold of Derrick at work a man answers the phone not knowing that her husband has cheated on her. When she talks to friends she finds out her husband has cheated on her since marriage as Derrick goes away for the weekend she decides to pack up everything file for a divorce without Derrick knowing and head to Alaska.


About the Author

Linda was named after the famous singer Linda Ronstadt. She is currently single and lives in Bloomington, Minnesota. Her nick name is Dee-Dee. Her hobbies include collecting autographs, hockey, writing, and spending time with family and friends. She would like to someday meet The Rock A.K.A Dwayne Johnson. Her dream job is to be a paraprofessional or a child advocate. Linda has written three published books now. She was in the Minneapolis /St. Paul Magazine in April of 2009. Linda’s most memorable moment is when she met her favorite hockey player Cal Clutterbuck and got a picture with him. She would say is the most inspiring person in her life is Ms. V. her second grade teacher whom today she has a great relationship with and considers a second mother.
