In this second story Would You Believe It? A Cat On Top Of A Car? Coal, the curious black cat begins his life living with Haidy, a disabled woman who adopted him. Craving for adventure and excitement he wanders around the parking lot and decides to perch himself on top of a parked car and ends up falling asleep. While sleeping he hears a car motor and believes it to come from somewhere else, not the car he is resting upon. Next thing he knows he is hanging on as the driver is unknowingly aware he is on the car roof and continues to drive down the street. How can Coal hang on? How does the driver become aware she has Coal on top of her car? Read on as this adventure unfolds......


About the Author

Heidi Esmeralda Peratoner is a freelance writer and poet. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She contracted Bacterial Meningitis at birth. As a result, she is physically challenged and with a hearing loss. She moved to Beaverton, Oregon with her family at a young age. She moved to California as an adult to attend UC Berkeley. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in English With A Writing Emphasis from Dominican University. She went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has had several poems published in the National Library of Poetry Anthology. She is now a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and currently lives in Fairfax, California. She was inspired by Coal, her pet cat to write about his adventures out in the community where they lived. Her first book How I Came To Be Coal has recently been published by Xlibris and is now available.
