About the Book

“On Gentle Breeze” is a continuing collection of original poems moving the reader along a midlife journey touching on Guide Posts that we all struggle with in our passage through life. It will activate many un-explored feelings we all experience as well as entertain us along the way. “On Gentle Breeze” is the compass to guide us through the jungle of life.

About the Author

The author, Freddy P., was born in Miami, Florida, moved to Santa Barbara, California at age 12, attended local schools-grew up here. A graduate of Fresno State University and University of California Santa Barbara. I’ve worked as a Fireman, college teacher of Industrial Technology, Space Shuttle Engineer, High School teacher of Industrial Technology, worldwide life member of Who’s Who, currently retired and I am a writer. I reside in Goleta, CA. I have spent 20 years writing this book – not by avoiding life’s pains, searching, experiencing happiness and loneliness, success and failure; finally moving toward Acceptance and Possibilities. During this mid life time I have lived through divorce, single parenthood, a dream aerospace career gone in the winds of change, a return to teaching high school for 16 years and finally retirement, recession and what I consider the real challenge of the rest of my life.
