About the Author

Markus Darkscribe was born on the 19th of April (the cruelest month), 1961 in New Orleans LA. For nearly a half a century I was cloaked in the debilitating shadow of depression, social anxiety, and self execration. Left school at 16, and lived a menial existence without hope, or ambition waiting for a lonely death to put an end to a life of emptiness and lovelessness. But at age 48, thanks to medicates, and a chance discovery of a poetry website, I found a long buried talent. But I took the chance and wrote a poem and developed a following. The more I wrote, the more confidence I found in myself and exorcised some demons in the process. This book is the culmination of 50 years of an existence without living, and biding time until the inevitable unnoticed grave.
