The Adventures of Skippy and Scrappy

About the Book

My name is Scott Goldschmidt. I live in a small town called Cottonwood in Northern California. I have two sons Brandon and Matthew. My son Brandon wrote this short story about our dogs when he was eleven years old. Brandon was diagnosed with Autism when he was four years old. Brandon’s story gives a unique outlook into his heart and perception of the world he lives in. At the time he wrote this story we had two dogs Jack and Skippy, they have quite the adventures while Brandon is away at school. Brandon’s Grandmother Elaine Briggs drew and painted the pictures to go with the story of Skippy and Scrappy so that I could make it into a book to share with the world.
