About the Book

In Eclectic Journey: Excerpts and Epitaph, Raven Bearwolf continues capturing snippets of life in the same unique intriguing style of her first publication Hidden Compass: Hunting the Shadows Beneath. Her journey of self-discovery through events, relationships, and observation is captured in creative expression as both artist and poet. These poems as palpable and oftentimes cryptic perceptions attest to life and challenge the reader to engage and reflect upon the threads that entwine all of us. As she commented, “...at first I regretted my independent ways. Later after my father passed I obtained both my bachelor and master degrees in honor of him telling me that an education is something people can’t take away from you. I reflect on this today and settling into that thought I don’t regret my earlier rebellious choices. I learned from the school of hard knocks and received the better education from Human University. I am still learning and I know that the Creator is answering my prayer to be gifted with the trifecta of Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding - yeah when I was in elementary I read the Bible thrice and thought I’d one-up Solomon who only asked for Wisdom (the capstone) – LOL – beware of what you ask for ;-}~ …”.

About the Author

Raven Bearwolf, the daughter of an American soldier and his Japanese bride, was born last of four children. Her youngest brother stoked her early interest in learning and creativity. Both parents encouraged her varied interests. Her road to self-discovery was and still is often captured in creative expression.
