Joey’s Wings is the story of a young bird whose one great dream and ambition is to fly high above the trees. Joey longs to be able to fly amongst the clouds and soak up the sun, but his wing is too sore to fly. About the Author

Rachel Bucher is a freelance writer and children’s book author. She recently graduated from Elizabethtown College with a degree in Music Therapy and is currently pursuing a career working in the pediatric hospital setting with a specialty in neurological disorders. Her children’s book, Joey’s Wings, is published by Xlibris. Her latest project is a series for children that will teach them various lessons from how to have proper manners to learning to be kind to others. The first book of the series introduces the main character, a playful lizard, by approaching the topic of adoption.
