About the Book

A classic locked room murder in, “Murder by Cliche’.” It has locked rooms, animals, twists, and tons of suspects. Heimdal is invited to a costume ball of a famous author. Heimdal has become not only mayor of Parishdam, but also with his partner, Roxy, a private detective. At the party Heimdal manages to get on the bad side of not only the wife of the author, but his son also. Then the author is found dead in a lock room. The door locked from the inside and a window that doesn’t open and even if it did, is so small only a very small child could get through. Everyone is a suspect, including Heimdal. Could it be the unhappy wife or the arguing son, or maybe the excitable maid or the disgruntle cook or a huge slew of others? As the case progress, a dog is found dead, the author’s dog and the favorite cat can’t be found either. The State Police are called in as well as the sheriff of Parishdam, Sam, long time friend of Heimdal’s. Who will be next and can Heimdal and company solve the murder or suicide before someone dies? This is the second of five part series in the Heimdal Nacht mysteries, enjoy.
