About the Author
Lafalaise, Luispeingne was born in Haiti in 1977. at an early age, he started to write poetry. The first poem he wrote, he hid it in a matches box. A female inspired him. He did not want his parents to see it, but the girlfriend of one of his cousins found it and gave it to his mother. One day his mother called him and said, that early in age you begin to write to woman, what about later. You should study instead of thinking about girls. If you get in that world now you will be lost. You will not have a future. This poem that he wrote is untitled, but read it yourself. Woman my nerves are fighting Languidly to tie your name in my heart What should I tell those diligents? Why don’t you say something? Though you are heartless woman From your bottle I want to drink With your poison I want to infect my tissues and shrink The height of pains is forever there Let’s worsen our state and get lost in bare Unconditionally I want to love thee Don’t accomplish your mission without me As you see this was his first. Several of his poems are published in more than five anthologies by the International Library of poetry.
