About the Book

Dr. Ambrosino is a practicing psychiatrist who has taught medical students at New York University School of Medicine for many years and has written a number of books addressing the human condition. These include a play, ten volumes of poetry, a philosophical tome, and now with Date Your Wife, a detailed exploration of the man-woman relationship. The relevance of the theme presented is inclusive of all interpersonal relationships.

Dr. Ambrosino examines this basic unit of human society and places it in psychological, personal perspectives within the framework of larger, evolving global implications. His message is hopeful and clear. The words date and wife take on a new meaning that gives us a fresh view of human relatedness.

About the Author

Dr. Ambrosino has resided and practiced medicine in Queens, New York for forty-six years. He is a graduate of the New York University School of Medicine and is a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association. He has spent years teaching medical students in a long, fruitful association with the New York University School of Medicine. Currently, he directs and supervises the Children’s Developmental Center, a not for profit organization for children with learning problems and disabilities. Dr. Ambrosino’s work has a broad sweep and reaches a level of synthesis rarely seen in the most popular intellectual literature of today. He endeavors to bring together many disciplines to ponder the existential questions that have “teased” humanity. His efforts have always been guided by an abiding integrity and hope. Toward that end, he has culled his years of research and experience to guide the reader toward meaningful connections.
